Don't worry, I'm fine! I've had kind of a bum hip for several months, and apparently some muscles, ligaments and tendons were sprained. So last Tuesday, in my Karate class, we were doing our regular stretching routine when I heard my hip SNAP. I tried to get back up and it POPPED again. Needless to say, I could not move. It hurt so bad I started to cry, so Mr. Ham moved me to the side ans sent Bobby out to get my mom and some ice. I couldn't move my entire leg without being in excruciating pain, so mom took me to the ER!
They took some x-rays and nothing was broken, but my tendons and ligaments had COME LOOSE, and every time I try to walk or move my hip too quickly, they get PINCHED between my bones! I wish I HAD broken it, because then they would've immobilized me. It really hurts to move, and every time I try to, it feels like everything in my hip is made of rice krispies. Crunchy.
So I feel absolutely RETARDED for how I got injured. I was in karate! Did someone hit me?! No. I was STRETCHING. My entire leg was sent into searing crunchy pain. Like someone took out my hip bone and shoved a lego in there. I can feel my ligaments and tendons move around, because they're loose, which makes me wanna barf when I think about it. The docs gave me crutches and put me on vicodin, so I probably shouldn't make any more House jokes. I don't have to take it ALL THE TIME, thankfully, but I do have to take ibuprofen. It helps the pain go away and stops the swelling so nothing much gets pinched.
The crutches hurt my armpits a lot, but the worst part is I can't take off my own pants. My mom has to come in and help me. I'm going to go in to teach karate still, and maybe I'll tell them Sensei Liz did this to me for talking during class. That'll keep 'em quiet.




Someone turn off the damn robot crow already.
